Ruth comes home

Dear Great Gran,
I understand you've seen some of the photos by Sean & Sue from Ruth's first day (and when she still had a squished head!).
Colin and Lorraine formed a welcoming party for Ruth and Julie's homecoming on Thursday - they took this photo of us once we got in. (NB: Ruth's head is less squished by now - she is just a but blurred in this photo!)


And here are the paternal grandparents with Ruth.

At home with Ruth

Dear Great Gran,
Colin and Lorraine enjoyed morning tea with Ruth this morning before heading back home. It is a stinker of a day - but it was pleasant on the back porch until 11 am.


This photo was taken just a few minutes ago - she is a really good sleeper!

Her hair colour looks less black and is a lighter brown now, but if she is anything like her parents were when they were babies then she will lose all her hair for quite a while before any more grows!

Scrolls, Capes and Big Floppy Hats

Dear Gran,
sorry for the delay in posting these photos. Here is Julie putting on her hat back on after being given a blue cape from the nice man who was also wearing a big floppy hat. He also gave her something in a roll - and I'm not sure if anyone's checked what it is yet!

And here Julie is after the ceremony. The floppy hat was very useful in keeping off the hot sun.

Julie also got photographed with a couple of snappily dressed people.

Don't they look mighty proud of her!
