Dear Great Gran,
DO NOT ADJUST YOUR COMPUTER MONITOR: the colours in the following picture of Stephen and Ruth playing a duet were randomly generated by our camera.
And speaking of random colours - and clothes...
Ruth often decides to accessorise her clothing with several scarves and ribbons (that she says are doll's blankets, robot costumes, dog leads, dog tails etc)

we visited the balloon fiesta by the lake early this morning!

Dear Great Gran,
it was lovely to see you last weekend.

For the purposes of trying to get a passport photo for Ruth, I've been trying to get a photo that meets the government's exacting standards i.e. looking directly at the camera with eyes open, mouth closed, neutral expression, head not tilted, shoulders square on, both edges of faces visible etc.
