Dear Great Gran,

You may be wondering what we have been up to during our gap in correspondence?
Well, Julie has been working out how she can feed more than just one hungry mouth.


And here Sean & Sandra have been admiring some of the fruits of Julie's labours. (Sean looks surprising happy for someone who is about to turn another year older.)


We visited the farm for a day to celebrate Sean's birthday (and were relieved to find that the climate was much cooler then than the 30 degrees at home.)
You might be wondering where Stephen is in this photo?


Well, he was inside wondering how to eat his bit of the birthday cake!

You could call this photo Stephen & Sweets. Or Stephen & Little Pudding (But that would not be a nice way to address his second cousin! Or should that be his first cousin once removed? Anyway, we did first remove the cousin so that he could get to his sweets.)

Last Saturday, we offered to babysit our two nephews for a few hours.
For most of that time, the two youngest sang duets together and then took turns singing solos to eachother!
Luckily for our reputation, about one minute before the parents returned, the babies stopped singing and started acting cute and quiet again!

This little piggy went to market

Dear Greatgran,

Ruth went with me to the local farmers market early this morning.

We then all went to the local pool before it got too hot.
You can see she's mastered at least one of the pool going activities.


Cousin Maurice was also at the pool, but he didn't go swimming either. This photo was taken in the shade at the pool and that is why Ruth is choosing not to wear a hat. We did have a sun hat for her if she needed it. Honestly. The photo just makes us look like we're bad parents.


Here Ruth is participating in Greek singing lessons with Maria (who is staying with us a couple of days).

Terry Towelling Origami

Dear Great Gran,
a harsher critic than yourself might think that this website has become a bit stuck on the one theme.

However, let me assure you that this blog letter is not about the baby or how much she sleeps or that she now weighs over nine and a quarter pounds and is a full inch longer than when she started! This letter is instead dedicated entirely to the little know art of Terry Towelling Origami (TTO).
