Colin and Lorraine have been in town with us since Sunday now and they have dazzled us with their energy in the first few days of sightseeing. Here they are at Koenigenlouiseninsel (Queen Louise's Island) in Tiergarten.
This is Lorraine's photo of Colin and I having lunch in the Hippodrome garden of the royal summer getaway Park Sans Souci in Potsdam. Its sunny, but only about eleven degrees. You can see the leaves are not yet out on many of the trees.
Here's another evening walk on the way to ice cream dessert over the river. The piles of sand and trucks at the wharf reminded Colin of his family's old sand pit.
Well, the three of us are off to Stockholm tomorrow, leaving the worker behind to keep the wheels of mathematics turning.
